The professional cue tip for the Tiger Jump cue is manufactured by one of the world’s leading producers of billiard cue tips and care products, Tiger Products. It is designed for use on cues intended for jump shots. The tip is composed of ten layers of selected pig and cow leather and is available in a diameter of 15 millimeters.
The layer distribution is designed so that the lower part of the leather absorbs the full force of the executed shot, while the upper part ensures maximum control over the execution.
The hardness of the Tiger Jump tip is 98 out of 100 on the Shore hardness scale. In its own seven-point system, the manufacturer rates the hardness of the Tiger Jump tip as super hard (Super Hard).
Each layer of the Tiger Jump laminated cue tip has undergone a multi-stage process of strength testing and surface smoothing. The layers are bonded using the unique patented vacuum lamination technology Vaculam®, which eliminates the tiniest air bubbles between the layers. This pressure bonding results in exceptionally robust and durable stiffness.
Tiger cue tips are manufactured at the factory in California. Each cue tip has an embossing on its adhering surface. The absence of such embossing could indicate that the product is counterfeit.
Currently, leading cue factories, cue manufacturers, and workshops worldwide use Tiger Products cue tips for their products. Some of the well-known brands whose owners collaborate with the company include Predator, Viking, Cuetec, McDermott, Balabuska, Adams, Universal, Lucasi, Vantex. Some cue manufacturers order cue tips from Tiger Products under their own brand names. A notable example of such collaboration is the cue tips of the Predator Group’s Sarin brand, which the manufacturer applies to its Poison cues.
