Billiard Cue multifunction Tip Tool
The multifunctional trimmer is made of high quality materials, sturdy and durable. Due to its special shape, the metal file ensures that the cue tip is treated particularly evenly. With the slot, it can be polished compactly. It can be polished even more finely with the supplied sandpaper. The side sandpaper can remove protruding parts and overhangs.
To create the perfect tip on your cue, the manufacturer recommends following four simple steps:
Step 1: Side Treatment of the Tip Place the tool at the top of the cue shaft, ensuring the groove contacts the shaft along its entire length. Move the tool back and forth without shifting it from the shaft, ensuring the groove consistently touches the shaft. Continue this action around the tip to process its side evenly. If the abrasive doesn’t touch a certain part, it means no treatment is needed there.
Step 2: Polishing Before polishing, slightly moisten the side of the tip, then rotate the tool around the tip with gentle pressure. Check if the side becomes polished and glossy after 10-15 rotations.
Step 3: Shaping Rotate the shaft clockwise and counterclockwise or move it back and forth between your palms to shape the tip into a 10 or 25-cent coin form. Avoid pressing too hard; let the pressure be natural.
Step 4: Chalking and Scuffing Apply chalk thoroughly to the tip. Using moderate force, rotate the tool in a circular motion around the tip, moving away from yourself. Turn the cue back and repeat the motion on untreated areas. An alternative method is lightly tapping the needle-like part of the tool on the tip, with caution as excessive tapping may deform the tip.
